"A Fool Such As I" was a song written by Bill Trader in 1952; it was first performed by Hank Snow who peaked it at #4 on the US country charts early in 1953.
But Elvis Presley made it a bigger hit (a single together with "I Need Your Love Tonight") topping the UK charts for 5 weeks from May to June 1959.
"I Need Your Love Tonight" was written by Sid Wayne and Bix Reichner. Fans of Hongkong canto-pop would have heard of this song sung in Cantonese by Sam Hui.
