"Sugar Shack", co-written by Keith McCormack and his aunt Fay Voss, is recorded by Jimmy Gilmer & The Fireball in '63. It was a hugh hit for the American rock 'n' roll band as it topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for 5 weeks (October - November '63).

Correction to writer credits: Yes, it is true that those writers are "credited" as the writers of the tune "Sugar Shack", BUT, The true story is this: The song was actully written by Jimmy Torres of the Group, The String-A-Longs. (You might remember another tune he wrote called"Wheels".) He sold the rights to "Sugar Shack" to Keith McCormick, and Fay Voss, for $50.00. Why, you ask?---
